If your toilet is clogged with debris, you'll need to use a plunger to restore it to working order. Simply press the plunger into place over the drain and work it up and down repeatedly to push anything stuck in the pipe through your drainage system.
Flush not activating
If your handle doesn't seem to be causing the toilet to flush and no clog is present, lift the back of the tank and check to make sure the handle is attached to the chain that pulls the flapper. Be careful with the toilet cover so as not to break the porcelain.

No hot water in your property? There may be an issue with the temperature controls on your hot water heater. Locate your tank and check that the settings are all accurate. Make any adjustments necessary and wait 15 to 20 minutes to give the tank time to heat up to temperature.
