Moving comes with lots of different responsibilities and it's easy to feel overwhelmed, which is why we've created these helpful checklists for our residents. Move-in Checklist

First Month's Rent & Security Deposit

Both your first month's rent and your security deposit must be paid at your lease signing. Please confirm the amounts with our team in advance.

Move-in Date & Inspection

We will schedule your move-in date and provide all initial inspection details at the lease signing.

Utilities

Utility accounts for your property need to be kept current and in your name. Please contact your utility provider in the days leading up to your lease signing to ensure you won't have any issues.

Move-out Checklist

Notice of Intent to Vacate

Planning to leave your residence? Please refer to the terms and conditions outlined in your lease. You'll need to provide us with written notice of your intent to vacate the property.

Property Condition

Your rental home must be returned in rent-ready condition; in other words, it should be ready for new tenants to move in. This includes:

  • Rental Cleaning:

    Carefully clean and sanitize every room in your rental home. Dispose of all personal belongings and garbage, wipe down all hard surfaces, and properly clean the floors in each room.

  • Repairs:

    If any small repairs are necessary in your rental home, please take care of these. This includes replacing lightbulbs and covering nail and screw holes. If significant damage has occurred inside the home, please speak to a member of our team to find an amicable solution.

Security Deposit

Your security deposit will be returned to you as quickly as possible. Our team will conduct a final inspection of your home to identify any damage left behind; if necessary, repairs will be scheduled and the cost of these will be deducted from the deposit.

The remainder will be returned to you promptly, along with an itemized invoice if any deductions were made.
